FAST BY GAST SUPERBIKE SHOWDOWN SERIES

CLICK A CLASS BELOW TO VIEW THE RESULTS.  RESULTS ARE POSTED FROM THE FINALS TO THE SEMIS.  EACH PAIR IS ALTERNATELY HIGHLIGHTED WITH THE WINNER OF EACH PAIR ON TOP - IF "SGL" APPEARS IN ONE OF THE PAIRS, THEN THAT PERSON RECEIVED A BYE RUN.  IF NO DATA IS POSTED IN THE E.T. OR MPH FIELD, THEN THAT VEHICLE BROKE BEFORE OR DURING THEIR RUN AFTER PAIRING.

NOTES: Due to weather, the event was cancelled before the event began.  RAINCHECK POLICY IS AS FOLLOWS! 

Mother Nature has struck once again! MIR understands the burden of traveling expenses, hotels, gas, and food expenses, plus the amount of the time you have to spend on the road. So in an effort to help out the racers, MIR has answered back by combining 2 events into one weekend! With full purses and points both days! The Fast by Gast "Spring" Superbike Showdown that was run on May 17th-18th has been postponed due to the weather and will be run on Saturday July 5th, and the "Summer Event" will be run on July 6th.

With some creative scheduling from the MIR staff, here is how the weekend will go down... Gates will open Saturday morning at 10am, and we will start racing at 11am and run two qualifying sessions. The 1st qualifying session Saturday morning starts at 12 noon for FBR Shop Quick 32, Schnitz Racing Outlaw Pro Street, Mickey Thompson 60" Pro Sportbike, and Cycle Concepts Heavyweight Hitters will be the last qualifier for the "Spring Event" and will also count as the 1st qualifying session for the "Summer Event". New entries are still welcome if you were not at the "May Spring Event", however you will only be able to make one qualifying attempt for the "Spring Event" as we have already ran 2 qualifying sessions on May 17th. After that qualifying session, there will be a 2nd qualifying session that day, this qualifying session will count as the 2nd qualifying session for the "Summer Event" which will be run on Sunday. During this time we will also give the Fast by Gast Superbike E.T. and K&N Motorsports Streetbike E.T. classes two time runs.

After those two sessions are completed we will start 1st round for FBR Shop Quick 32, Schnitz Racing Outlaw Pro Street, Mickey Thompson 60" Pro Sportbike, Cycle Concepts Heavyweight Hitters, Fast by Gast Superbike E.T., and K&N Motorsports Streetbike E.T. classes with full purses and points and run to completion. Don't be late and arrive early on Saturday morning so you don't miss anything! The Saturday night $1,000 Gambler's race will also be run if time permits ($20 entry).

On Sunday, July 6th, we will run a 3rd and final qualifying session in the morning for FBR Shop Quick 32, Schnitz Racing Outlaw Pro Street, Mickey Thompson 60" Pro Sportbike, and Cycle Concepts Heavyweight Hitters classes. This will be the final qualifying session for the "Summer Event". Then we will go into eliminations Sunday at 12:30pm for all classes.

With purses paid out in all classes each day and points each day in effect this will be the BIGGEST SUPERBIKE SHOWDOWN IN HISTORY! You only have to make one trip to the track and get to run two races! Dragbikes have a shot at $6,000! ($3,000 each day), Outlaw Pro Street bikes have a shot at $4,000! ($2,000 each day), 60" Pro Sportbikes have a shot at $2,000! ($1,000 each day), Heavyweight Hitters have a shot at $1,600! ($800 each day), Streetbikes have a shot at $1,000! ($500 each day).

Plus, Schnitz Racing is offering a $500 Bonus to any rider who can win both races in Schnitz Racing Outlaw Pro Street, Mickey Thompson 60" Pro Sportbike, or Cycle Concepts Heavyweight Hitters classes!

Altogether with runner-ups, semis, and round moneys in all classes, plus the gambler's race and the Schnitz Racing available bonuses, that means $32,520 in purses will be paid out in just one weekend! Attention all racers... If you raced at the "Spring Event", make sure you hold onto your blue ticket stub, as you will need to show the gate this to get issued a new tech card for the Saturday portion of the "Spring Event". You will only need to buy a tech card for the "Summer Event". Attention all spectators and crew.. If you purchased a one day ticket at the "Spring Event" then that ticket is no longer valid as we completed Saturday's portion. If you bought a 2-day ticket, you will only need to pay an additional $15 to upgrade your ticket to a 2-day for July 5th & 6th (This is because we completed 1 day of your ticket value already). Do not loose your tickets! Wristbands and tech cards from the May event have no value, your blue ticket stub is your rain check.
