Update: All the old jersey walls
have been removed from along the
racing surface. An amazing amount of
steel conduit is being installed in
preparation for the poured concrete
walls. In addition to the poured
walls, there will be a major
expansion and upgrade to the gravel
trap.
All this is to meet the safety
standards to run 330 mph NHRA Top
Fuel and Nitro Funny Cars at the
Potomac Nationals on May 29–31,
2026.
