MECHANICSVILLE, MARYLAND (September 30th, 2024) – Mother nature would throw a major curveball into the weekend as Friday and Sunday would show weather forecasts with total rainouts and a small window to race on Saturday. While a very tough decision to cancel the Superchargers Showdown was made, the sportsman categories in Top Sportsman, Top ET, and Mod ET would still be ran as a standalone event. This would give the opportunity to crown the 2024 champions in the later two categories along with the winner of the Rick's Jewelers Ring for the Queen.

All eyes would be watching Mickey Nelson (Top ET), Robbie Parlett (Top ET), Danny Mattera (Top ET), Alan Thatcher (Mod ET) as they led all drivers tied with three Diamond Points. But in 5th round, Joey Mattera (Top ET) would earn his third point of the year and hold the first tie breaker with his one points series win this year. None of the other drivers with three Diamond Points had a points series win in 2024. Congratulations to Joey Mattera for winning the 2024 Rick's Jewelers Ring for the Queen!
