MECHANICSVILLE,
MARYLAND (August 21st 2024)
Maryland International Raceway
(MIR) for the five of the past eight
years has been able to field winning
teams and three runner up teams for
the previous Team Finals. This year,
MIR will return to Keystone Raceway
Park for the WDRA Bracket Finals
held September 12th 15th. The MIR
Team will consist of 45 total cars:
18 cars in Top ET, 14 in Mod ET (one
being the highest point earning
motorcycle) and 13 in Junior
Dragster. After Sundays WDRA
Sportsman Series and 1320
Fabrication ET Series presented by
East Collision event, the points
have been compiled and tie breakers
verified to see who made the MIR
team in 2024. Congratulations to all
our drivers who made the team!

Gates
will open at 11am on Thursday,
September 12th for parking and will
close at 10pm. Testing will be
available starting at 11am and will
run until 6pm. There will be a golf
cart racing after the Test & Tune.
Friday, September 13th, gates and
registration will open at 8am with
the Team Captains Race at 9am and
Team Pictures at 930am. The Race of
Champions will run after Team Photos
and a Gamblers Race with one Time
Trial will run after the Race of
Champions. Gates will close at 9pm
on Friday. Gates will open at 8am on
Saturday, September 14th with racing

When
looking at the names on the team,
there is another great chance at
bring the Bracket Finals Trophy back
home. The WDRA Bracket Finals is a
four-day event September 12th 15th
ran with surrounding WDRA tracks
whose racers band together as a team
and race to see who has the best
sportsman racers. This year MIR will
be facing against Keystone, Beaver
Springs, US13, Empire, Lancaster,
Sumerduck, Skyview, and Southside
