MECHANICSVILLE, MARYLAND (July 22nd,
2024) – July 20th - 21st brought the return
of the Burchoil Jet Wars on Saturday
and a scheduled standalone 1320 Fabrication
ET Series presented by East Coast
Collision on Sunday.
Saturday's Jet Wars event would
start on time, but after terrible
accuracy on weather forecasts, and
even worse weather, the event would
eventually be cancelled. The Hubble
Motorsports Junior Dragsters would
complete 1st round and the rest of
the race would be completed Sunday.
The Warriors Outlaw and Top
Sportsman races would be shifted to
Sunday. MPC Real Street would
reschedule their race to Sunday.
Sunday's event would have alot of
racing action and solid weather, but
a great pace set by the racers and
MIR staff would have all racing
completed around 9pm.
 Mickey
Nelson (Top ET) and Alan Thatcher
(Mod ET) lead all drivers with 3
points currently. Dennis Briggs Jr
(Top ET), Danny Mattera (Top ET),
Michael Franck (Mod ET), Tony
Williams (JD), and Ellyse Gailey
(JD) all have 2 points each. Twenty
drivers in Top ET, twelve in Mod ET, and
nine
with the Hubble Motorsports Junior
Dragsters have one
Diamond Point each. For more
