 MECHANICSVILLE,
MARYLAND (November 16th, 2023) –
Footbrake racers for years have
asked for a big buck race for their
style of racing. At the end of 2021,
that call was answered. An
announcement at the end of 2021 was
made that FRBR Promotions was moving
their signature event, Door Wars, A
Footbrake Experience to Maryland
International Raceway (MIR). While
that event has since been moved back
to it original track, FRBR
Promotions has ventured back to MIR
and started a new event, the
Inaugural Footbrake Feast held
November 17th – 19th! This new event
will also bring a new purse
structure, with $5,000 to win
Friday, $10,000 to win on Saturday,
and $7,500 to win on Sunday.
Gates will open for parking starting
on Thursday November 16th at 5pm and
will close at 9pm for parking.
Friday, November 17th, gates will
open at 8am with a Time Trial for
all entries at 9am and eliminations
to follow. Saturday, November 18th,
gates will open at 8am with a Time
Trial for all entries at 9am and
Eliminations to follow after the
Time Trial. There is a $2,000 to win
Gamblers race scheduled Friday and
Saturday after main event
eliminations are completed. Sunday,
November 19th, gates will open at
8am with a Time Trial for New
Entries only at 9am and Eliminations
to start around 9:30am.
