 MECHANICSVILLE, MARYLAND (August
11th, 2023) – The WDRA Sportsman
Series event on August 18th – 20th
at Maryland International Raceway
(MIR) will be the final chance for
the 1320 Fabrication ET Series
presented by East Coast Collision
racers to qualify for the WDRA
Bracket Finals. This year, the WDRA
Summit Bracket Finals presented by
Laris Motorsports Insurance, will be
held at Keystone Raceway in New
Alexandria, Pennsylvania. Team MIR
will consist of 45 racers, with 18
in Top ET, 14 in Mod ET, and 13 in
Junior Dragster with no alternates.
The final day to qualify will be
August 20th, with the MIR Team
Roster set on Tuesday, August 22nd.
If you are expected to qualify, or
on the bubble, for making the
Bracket Finals Roster, be sure to
see Rebecca Hammonds by Sunday,
August 20th, to get your Team Shirt
and Hat ordered. Team Roster is
expected to be released on
Wednesday, August 23rd, as long as
all participants have confirmed
their attendance.
 For
those that make the roster and may
need to stay at a hotel, MIR has
blocked out rooms at the Holiday Inn
Express Murrysville-Delmont from
Thursday, September 14th, until
Sunday, September 17th. The final
day to book for the group rate of
$120 per night will be Friday,
August 25th. Be sure to mention the
MIR rate when you call to set up
your reservation.
