MECHANICSVILLE, MARYLAND (May 26, 2023) – The 5th annual King of the Creek returns to Maryland International Raceway ™ (MIR) June 3rd-6th, 2021. The impressive 4-day big buck bracket event kicks off on Thursday, June 1st and runs through Sunday, June 4th, 2023. This event is expected to be one of the largest bracket events at MIR as the best sportsman racers from around the country will travel to compete for the substantial purses and the King of the Creek Championship. Classes in 2023 include Top ET, Footbrake, and Junior Dragster.

All new for 2023 is the King of Kings Ultimate Gamblers race. 64 entries will be fighting it out for $50k! Not only that, but Runner up will still receive an eye popping $10k! All 64 entries are sold out with a list that will consist of the best local and traveling bracket racers in the country. Anyone in this gamblers race can win, but who will it be in the end? The first two rounds will be completed on Friday after the main event, and the remainder of the race will be completed on Saturday after the main event. While the competition will be tight all weekend long, the King of Kings Gambler Racers will need to bring their best while fighting for the highest purses of the weekend!

For the main event, Top ET racers will compete for a chance at a potential $70k to win over the four-day event with $10k on Thursday, $25k on Friday, $25k on Saturday, and $10k on Sunday. Plus, the Footbrake and Junior Dragster classes have once again returned. The Footbrake class will race Friday through Sunday with a chance at a significant purse each day. Footbrake racers will run for $2k on Friday, $5k on Saturday, and an additional $2k on Sunday. Junior Dragsters will have a chance at $2k on Saturday and Sunday. All these purses are GUARANTEED! All Top ET and Footbrake racers will be able to purchase their entries at the gate. There is currently no cap on the number of racers allowed in either class. Junior Dragsters, however, must have their pre-purchased entries to race. While pre-entries for the first event are sold out, tickets for the second event in September will go live on June 23th, at noon. Only sixty entries are available and will sell out within minutes. Tickets for the June race sold out in less than five minutes.

Wesley Washington and the No Limits Production staff have been working behind the scenes to make the King of the Creek one of the best 1/8th mile bracket events in the country. With bonuses, discounts, and the “King of the Creek” points championship, this event will be spectacular! Can Jason “Loose Change” Overstreet (Top), Tim Foskey Jr (Footbrake), and Zach Parlett (J/D) retain their King of the Creek titles? Or will a newcomer arrive and strip the crown from them?
