MECHANICSVILLE, MARYLAND (September 19th, 2022) - The Rick's Jewelers Ring for the Queen is one of the most unique and innovative programs held for ET Racers at MIR. Each time an ET Series racer is perfect on either end of the track, .000 reaction time or dead on the dial with a zero, he/she will earn a Diamond Point. For the last decade, Rick Norris and his team at Rick's Jewelers have not cut back on the full one-carat ladies diamond solitaire ring.

This year, the Ricks Jewelers Ring for the Queen was claimed before the end of the season. Top ET racer Chris Maloney was able to capture the Ricks Jewelers Ring for the Queen with his sixth Diamond Point during Saturday’s final of the 1320 Fabrication ET Series presented by East Coast Collision Summer Blowout. Maloney, who was sitting on five Diamond Points coming into the event, put up his first perfect reaction time of the season in the final to win the Ring for the Queen. Maloney also would win Saturday’s race and the $5,000 prize. All of Maloney’s other five points came from going dead on zero. As if having 6 Diamond points wasn’t enough, Maloney went dead on zero on his dial in on Sunday during 1st round of eliminations to add a seventh Diamond Point.
