Get Ready for Another Revved-up,
High Performance Season In
Hubble Motorsports Junior Dragster

Maryland Int’l Raceway has one of the best weekly Junior Dragster programs in the country; with some of the greatest junior racers and families. Ron Hubble of Hubble Motorsports has continued his incredible support for the Junior Dragster program for 2022. Each weekly Junior Dragster winner is awarded $250 plus a trophy, the runner-up is awarded $100 plus a trophy and each semi-finalist will receive $50. As always, second round winners are given a trophy when they bring their time slip to Race Control.

For 2022 there are a total of 21 points races the same as in 2021. Plus, many MIR special events include J/D including the Jr Dragster Double Header, PDRA, Young Guns, Jet Wars, ET Blowouts, IHRA Sportsman Spectacular and Superchargers Showdown. Check the points calendar (link below) for which events are points races.

Again, this year, the IHRA Summit Team Finals will be held right here at MIR on Oct 6 – 9 and will include 20 Junior Dragsters representing Team MIR (the top 10 in points will be on Team A and the next 10 in points will be on Team B).

The Junior Dragster championship points program and points fund will be paid based on the drivers’ final season points placement - with plaques going to the top 10. The track champion will receive $500, FREE car & driver entry for the following season, plus a championship trophy. The second-place driver will get $200 and third place $100. The fourth and fifth place will also receive $50 each. The entire $900 J/D points fund payout is sponsored by Hubble Motorsports.
