• Security guards assist in handling traffic, answering questions from fans, monitor family sections and playgrounds, patrolling the facility, enforcing rules, helping with parking spectators, and directing flow at intersections.

• You must be able to ride and control a motorized scooter.

• Must be at least 21 years old, have a driver's license, and your own transportation.

• With late nights and early mornings at MIR all applicants need to live close to MIR, no more than 30-40 minutes away from the track.

• We race on Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday. You may be off some weekends, or work 1-2 days on other weekends and and sometimes all 3 days on major events.  Each work day can range from 6 hours - 14 hours.

Track Official - Waterbox

• Great job for responsible people out of High School, in College, or in the Military with a good work ethic and enjoys Drag Racing!

• Duties range from keeping the waterbox clean (where cars do their burnouts), waving cars into the waterbox, pushing off broken cars from the starting line, operating track equipment, and cleaning up oil downs and accidents. This position is best for people who are fit enough to stand on their feet during the day and know how to hustle.

• We are looking for people that are looking for long term part time employment (several years), not people that want to work for just a few months.

• Mechanical or car knowledge is not required.

• Must be at least 18 years old, have a driver's license, and your own transportation.

• With late nights and early mornings at MIR all applicants need to live close to MIR, no more than 30-40 minutes away from the track.

Announcer

• Announcers broadcast results, news, and information to the spectators and racers over the PA system throughout the event.

• Racing knowledge, understanding the sport, other racing series, and broadcasting experience or DJ experience is required.

Track Official - Tech / Staging

• Great job for responsible people that used to race or be part of the crew on a race team or just have general car knowledge and enjoys drag racing.

• Duties range from inspecting cars for safety equipment in tech, pairing cars on ladders, operating track equipment, and working the staging lanes. This position is best for people who understand drag racing and has been around the sport as fan, a racer, or crew.

• We are looking for people that are looking for long term part time employment (several years), not people that want to work for just a few months.

• General car knowledge is required.

• Must be at least 18 years old, have a driver's license, and your own transportation.

• With late nights and early mornings at MIR all applicants need to live close to MIR, no more than 30-40 minutes away from the track.

• We race on Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday. You will work on average 1-2 days per weekend and sometimes all 3 days on major events.  Each work day can range from 6 hours - 14 hours.

Tower Officials

• Tower officials are responsible for participant data entry, preparing and posting qualifying sheets and ladders, and distributing the purses to race winners.

• We are looking for people that are looking for long term part time employment (several years), not people that want to work for just a few months.

• Must have computer experience.

• Must be at least 18 years old, have a driver's license, and your own transportation.

• Ticket sellers work the gates and box office to greet fans and sell admission tickets and racer credentials for the event.

Fire/Rescue

• The Fire/Rescue staff is what keeps MIR a safe place to race by responding to any incidents on track property.

• Must have EMT or EMR certification. Firefighter 1 also preferred.

• Also, If you have availability on weekdays during the daytime, we have hours available for you as well.

• Must be at least 18 years old, have a driver's license, and your own transportation.
