 MECHANICSVILLE,
MARYLAND (February 21, 2024) –
Maryland International Raceway (MIR)
is proud to announce that Adam
Graham has joined the full-time
staff as the new Track Manager to
oversee racing/staffing operations.
He will also be taking over some of
the day-to-day operational duties
during the week along with event
execution on race weekends.
Royce Miller, Owner and Promoter of
MIR, and Jason Miller, Co-owner and
Promoter of the World Cup Finals and
XDA, will be sharing over 70
combined years of experience in
facility operations & management,
event execution, and world-famous
track prep with the newly appointed
Graham.
“I am excited to have Adam join our
team here at MIR,” stated Royce
Miller. “He is young, enthusiastic
and has a great passion for our
sport. I am also looking forward to
handing Adam some of my day-to-day
responsibilities which will allow me
to look at bigger picture items; or
should I dare say, even a little
time off!”

as much knowledge as I can to him”
stated Jason Miller. “Adam has a
strong passion for Drag Racing and
he has a bright future in this
sport. Dad and I are building one
hell of a team at MIR and Adam is
going to be one of our star
players!”
 Adam
comes from a large racing family
with 4 boys & 4 girls. He grew up
around drag racing as his father
owned 2 dragstrips in Indiana; New
Hope Dragway and Wabash Valley
Dragway. As Adam grew older, he
shifted to high school sports, but
would find himself in the garage
working on cars, motorcycles, atvs,
and anything else he could. His dad
started racing after Adam left for
college, and Adam would join him for
some bracket racing in the summers
when time allowed. Adam has visited
victory lane in his drag racing
career, and has had heartbreaking
runner-up and semi-final bow outs
too. The Graham Family Racing Team
is currently shifting focus from
bracket racing, and looks to run the
National Mustang Racing Association
(NMRA) circuit. His youngest sister
races Junior Dragsters and is
expected to start racing the new
Junior Street class at their local
dragstrip in Indiana.
 Adam
has moved to Maryland from Johnson
City, Tennessee where he attended
Milligan University. There, Adam
received his Bachelor of Science
degree in Business Administration
with a concentration in Sports
Management. While attending college,
he played basketball being a
towering 6’ 6” with speed and
strength. He played all five
positions on the court (power
forward, shooting guard, point
guard, center and small forward),
and maximized his minutes on the
court because of his running
background in cross country and
track in high school.
Another outing Adam took on while
attending Milligan University was an
internship at Bristol Motor Speedway
working both the dragstrip and the
NASCAR circle track. He spent three
years working at Bristol and left
there as a Specialist. His duties
consisted of the day-to-day
operations of Bristol Dragway
including staffing, contract
creation, race directing, and
working many other positions to
build his on-the-job experience. At
the NASCAR circle track, Adam’s
duties included marketing, event set
up, event management, staffing, and
talent acquisition for fan zones
while also traveling to other
facilities owned by Speedway
Motorsports to assist with event
execution. He was also the recipient
of the Extra Mile Award in 2022 from
Bristol Dragway and in 2023 from
Bristol Motor Speedway. The Extra
Mile Award is Bristol’s version of
Employee of the Year.
“The transition from Tennessee to
Maryland has been fun and I am
impressed everyday with the Southern
Maryland community,” said Graham.
“The MIR facility is beautiful, and
I am excited to bring my background
and knowledge of all types of
motorsports here to grow this sport
I love. I look forward to learning
the amazing organized system that
Royce has built-up over many years!”
